Carpentry Foreman to start mid-March.

The position will require the following works:

– Site setting up and design input prior to permissions, working with engineers and architects

– Management of tradesmen (Carpenters) on site and co-ordinating their workloads as well as running    the apprenticeship program for site carpenters

– Working with those trades in the following tasks and others:

– External Cladding to timber frame building

– Internal Plaster Boarding and insulation

– Battening out internally and externally

– Kitchen Fitting

– Flooring including floating floors and wood flooring

– Internal Fit out

– Checking on the quality and finishing of completed works

– Compile and monitor the execution of snag lists

– Reporting to the site management

– Ensure site health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times

We currently have permission for 45 properties with applications in for another 100+ across the East of England.  The role can be Norwich based but does have the option to travel, if in the future you wish to take on more responsibility, a vehicle will be provided if travel is required as well as expenses.

The starting salary is £40,000 + bonus (end of year)

Benefits include: 28 days Holiday (incl bank holidays), pension contribution up to 4%, standard sick pay, Training and Certs costs, Tools & Uniform, lunch allowance and expenses covered when staying away from home.

Personal Assistant

The Chipro Group is a family run group of businesses located in the South East of England. Chipro Group requires a Personal Assistant for the important role of supporting the main stake holders in a newly created Amersham office. The role will be very varied and challenging.

The candidate’s main responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting the Directors with general administrative duties including: completing expense reports; basic book keeping, composing and preparing correspondence (sometimes confidential); arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
  • Assisting with writing, preparation and presentation of documents, writing of reports and arranging samples for meetings as required.
  • Arranging and booking meetings and events for the Directors
  • Understanding and contributing to Corporate Social Media activity, regularly posting to accounts and updating our website
  • Providing support and assistance with phone calls and emails
  • Arranging property viewings and dealing with the sales process of those properties alongside solicitors, Estate Agents and purchasers
  • Management of documents to NHBC, Council Planning Departments from Architects, Engineers and Suppliers
  • Managing the scheduling of materials to site alongside site managers
  • Arranging car viewing appointments, purchasing and processing sales or finance agreements

  • Excellent people skills, requiring demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to interact with people of all levels within the property industry
  • Excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle confidential information and issues effectively and without breach of confidentiality
  • Be committed to providing high levels of service to both internal and external contacts
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with strong diary management
  • Professional, confident, enthusiastic team player with a high level of flexibility and a “can do” attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • UK Driving License and your own transport
